Mary, Mistress of Spiritual Warfare  Sometimes, we have painful moments, difficulties, struggles, weariness and disgust, but we must always try to fight the good fight of God and Jesus. With the purest fervor of God's children, we must beg the Blessed Virgin to show us Jesus, and ask her for the strength to fight until the very end. It takes courage, because life is one big struggle from baptism to death. As children we experienced a child’s pain, but as we advance on the spiritual path, we cannot help but notice that life becomes more difficult.

Virgin of virgins

You are the Virgin of virgins, wholly pleasing and beautiful, shining like a star, fragrant as a rose, white as a daisy, luminous as the sun and the moon, both in heaven and on earth...

You are the meek Virgin, innocent as a lamb, simple as a dove, prudent as a noble matron, and you serve like a lowly handmaid.  You are a holy root, a lofty cedar, a fruitful vine, a fruit most sweet.  In you all blessings are found and through you eternal rewards are given to us.
